7.3 Fuel Probem

Hey Guys, I have posted my problem with the fuel pump on my truck. Now, I am wondering if I may be over working the pump. I am the one with the failed SX Fuel pump (2nd time). I have replaced the add on filter element that is before my pump, but........ Where is the factory fuel filter on this truck (99 PSD F350)? My aftermarket pressure regulator (under hood) reads 65 PSI when the pump is working. Is this normal? I bought the truck with this aftermarket fuel system but I am wondering if the pump is failing because there is another fuel flow problem , like a clogged filter. I am new to the diesel truck scene so excuse me if my questions seem weird.
