**TURBO OVERBOOST!!**

I have an '06 F-350 6.0L a week ago I did an EGR delete from BD and S&B air intake plus the H&S mini maxx. over the weekend i was pulling a four place sled trailer loaded (about 5000lbs small load) and a couple of times i hit 32lbs of boost then the service engine light would come on and the engine would cut back to 24lbs boost and little power. shut the truck off clear the code with my mini maxx, start the truck and all was fine for a few days then same thing again. Has anyone else ever had this or does anyone know what or why it could be? im kinda stumped as my thoughts are it is in the electronics. and also i was running in the mild and the wild tune settings, not the Hot!

i didn't even know 6.0's had a over boost feature . subscribed

did you un hook the minimaxx and try driving it? i dont know if your truck will hit 32 psi stock. i know mine would if i was pulling something.

your the first person ive herd with a minimaxx on a 6.0. i was looking at them. how does it run?

when the truck was stock 20-22lbs was about the most i would see pulling the 36ft fifthwheel. even with the mini maxx normally only 25-28lbs, and it wasnt even on big hills or hard pulls when it would spike up and then until i reset the code it would sit right around 18-24lbs not even working(where normally would be 4-9lbs). i haven tryed without the chip to see if it will do it yet. i like the mini maxx on the 6.0L with the air intake on the HOT tune loads of power and hardly any black, (not a big fan of reducing granny's visibility in the car next to me) i had the tripple dog before but its hanging in the garage keeping dust from landing on the floor! the shift on the fly is really nice and being able to monitor all the perameters and set defuel levels is pretty sweet as well, plus its small and easy to mount on the dash and thieves cant really see it!

If there is no code for over boost on a 6.0L then someone must have slipped a durtymax under my hood when I wasnt looking! It happened on 2 different occasions, I hit 30-32lbs and my sevice engine light came on and it de-rated itself! when i checked the codes with my mini maxx i cant remember the code number but the code read "turbocharger overboost condition". I'm not saying your wrong but I'm just telling you what i seen and if anyone else has had this problem help would be great! maybe i need to get H&S to wright me a different tune to over ride this code or not to make that much boost, I dont know.

zoodad is cutting out the plastic right infront of your stock air filter box towards the front of the truck, allowing air to be rammed into the air filter as you drive, high idle, theres two wires under the dash, you'll have to look up which ones, when you run them to a switch, switch on idles the truck up to 1200 rpms, which can serve many purposes.
