serious 97 7.3L engine issues
First I want to say that my 97 3/4 ton has only 103k on it. I run straight vegetable oil from the front tank and diesel from the rear and always shut it down and start it up on diesel so as not to get the thick oil stuck somewhere. The oil is filtered to 6 microns before it goes in the tank and then 2 microns before it gets to the switching valve as well as being filtered by the stock fuel filter. My problem happens on both diesel and grease. so here goes over the past couple of weeks i noticed a lack of power so much so that when pulling a hill cruise would shut off because of the lack of speed being maintained then it will start shaking and running really rough like it is dropping a cylinder, but there is no smoke of any kind when doing this. after a few miles or minutes it will go a head and clear up and drive alright for awhile then start all over again. just this week it started having no power all the time on hills. It will not rev right either. it acts like it is self governing itself at around 2500-3000 rpms and when it does go over that is starts missing and shaking and will occasionally throw some black smoke then some white. I ran a cylinder contribution test and the first time 4 came back failed then the second time 6 came back failed. I rand a buzz test and all circuits passed and the wiring under the valve covers looks good i checked the injector oil pressure and they were all a little lower than the newer body style psd i used as a comparison vehicle. I changed the fuel filter and dead headed the fuel pump and it pulled 23-25 inches of Hg. I am stumped there is no way a have that many injectors out all at the same time, or is there any help would be appreciated because I am at a lose of where to go from here. Thanks
