Will a 99.5 IDM work on a 96?

Will the IDM module off of a 99.5 work for my 96?

I am thinking that the 99.5 uses split shot injectors and the 96 a single shot, does that matter? I mean the IDM triggers the injector, but the rest of the process is beyond the computer.

I have an opportunity for this 99.5 IDM at a VERY reasonable price.

thank you in advance for your input.

Yeah, it should work. The only difference I know of is the later model IDM's were higher voltage.

I don't think this will work: The first gen PSD ran on a 3 volt ICP sensor system and the 2nd Gen (99.5-'03) used a 5 volt modulation system. I'd just call a dealer
