fuel leak
I have a 1990 e-350 with the 7.3 unabridged. I've been dead in the water since monday. I just changed out all the o-ring seals, hoses, and clamps on the injector returns. I checked out all the fuel lines I can get my eyes/ fingers on and have not been able to find anything.I have a serious fuel leak. Fuel running on the valley pan under the air intake and off the rear of the motor onto the exhaust. So needless to say can't drive it. I can track the leak as far as the intake plenum then I lose it and can't find it from the front of the motor. Is this the Injector pump? TIA

I had a similar issue I fought for months and also replaced all the short fuel lines but the leak continued (fuel puddled in the valley and ran down the back of the engine) Finally solved it though. It was the fuel pump itself. There is a small weep hole on the pump that would drip fuel, and lots of it as rpms increased. Obviously the rubber diaphram inside the fuel pump was shot. Replaced the pump and I am leak free! Just something to check.
