96 wont start

while driving truck died. will not restart, changed cam sensor,fuel pump, borrowd a friends modis all injectors buzz, no codes. help im lost.

check your alternator/battery connections. if you lose enough power, your computer won't work.

do you have any aftermarket chips?? sometimes those come lose causing the problems you have.

I take it the engine is turning over but not firing. Or what would be considered cranks but will not start. Are you getting fuel to the injectors. Did you check or replace fuel filter. Not just the one by the engine but what about the one in the fuel tank.

Had same problem once with my 96. It ended up being the back pressure sensors.

no aftermarket parts, removed and cleaned filter bowl and new filter, pump is filling the bowl when cranking, yes it will crank all day till it kills both batt unless i unplug glow plugs and use a little starting fluid when starting fluid is taken away it dies again.

wait to start light is working. also didnt have a volt meater at the time but at the IPR it is getting some power but the bulb is very dim. (not sure how much voltage is there when not cranking)
