Well i have a repair shop in Saraland,Al and yesterday a customer brought in an 05 3500 with the common rail cummins in it for after you shut it off it will spin over but not start.I checked the lift pump and it wasn't working(R&R lift pump) did not cure problem.From past experience I knew that there was a good chance that the injection pump overheated and needed to be replaced.(R&R common rail injection pump) did not cure problem I have checked the wireing for chaffing(none) the lift pump is supplying fuel and about a month ago the customer had new injectors installed.I am letting the truck sit right know and am going to check fuel pressure while cranking in a minute

ok previously on start up the engine would crank around 1000psi and after i let it sit a few minutes i had 1359 and would not start
