95 E350 w/7.3L no start - Looking for engine wiring diagram.
I have recently acquired a 1995 E350 bus, with a 7.3L. The bus was in pieces and had been sitting for some time, when it was towed over. The previous owner had someone work on it that had no idea what he was doing. I have reassembled the bus, cleaned and flushed the fuel lines and tank. Also drained filter bowl and replace the fuel filter, changed oil (with recommended non-foaming oil) and filter. I have replaced the batteries. With help from this site, I found that the CMP was bad and replaced it.
Currently, the engine cranks, the battery voltage stays above 10V, I get RPM reading on the RPM controller, and I have 40PSI fuel pressure at the pressure regulator. I have power going through the glow plug relay and checked the glow plugs resistance at the valve cover plug, they check out ok. I tried using gas on a rag at the air inlet and had the engine run for a few moments. I do not have gages to test the oil pressure. I was able to barrow a scan tool from a buddy. I found a previous code (P0113) for the IAT circuit. I believe that I set this earlier while testing the individual sensors. I also found P0603. I attempted to run a Buzz test and received a P1668 PCM-IDM COM error.
I am looking for a wiring diagram that will show the IDM. I found one for 1999-2003 and don’t know if there are any differences. I would like to check out the wiring before I condemn the IDM. The person that worked on it previously ran the batteries down so far that they thought the starter was bad. My thought is that with the reduced voltage, and the increased current might have popped a fuse, fuseable-link or relay.
