04 6.0l all stock....tons of white smoke and rough idle/knocking...please help!!

pull the EGR and see if it is wet.

OK i did n its wet..n there is some kind of fluid down there too

EGR cooler is leaking. If you keep driving it you could hydrolock the engine. Either replace the cooler with a bulletproof cooler or do a cooler delete. Once that is done you should have no more problems with it.

took it to the ford dealer n he said its an internal high pressure oil line....thats leaking oil.....

I had a similar issue. Drove 500 miles Friday. Picked up new 5th wheel camper on Saturday morning. Drove 20 miles down the interstate and pulled off for some breakfast. Taking off from red light...no response from throtle, and white smoke out of exhaust. Was able to coast into parking lot. Continue to smoke, with no response to the throtle. Any ideas? EGR, Injectors???
