99 F-250 Problem
I just bought a Ford Diesel. It has 144000 miles on it. My problem is the truck smokes when you start it up and has somewhat of a miss when running, but you can give it more fuel and it goes on and runs pretty good when the rpm's are up. Some one please help me out

I'm really not sure. Im in afghanistan and i bought the truck back home and thats just what they told me was wrong with it.
