7.3 problems

I tried installing pyro/boost gauges today. Well right after I got them installed I went for a drive. As press down the peddle it would surge and then have dead peddle no power at all, so I headed back home to check everything. Once I was at home I removed the boost line to the gauges and replaced it with a plastic splice. I tried to start the truck and like I said tried because it will not start it just cranks. I noticed the rpm gauge is jumping and I hear a buzzing that I dont remember hearing before. I have now discounected everything that I installed with the gauges. And it will still not run. I was getting a SEL when i pressed the peddle when it did run. I hope someone has a idea of what it can be, thanks.

Check where you got the power from. Make sure it is not somthing tied to the ECM. Or it may just be bad luck somthing completly unrelated went wrong.
