EGR Valve Bolt! Help!

Okay so i took out my EGR valve today to install the blockoff plate, put the screws back in the valve opening, began to tighten them, and the left one won't hold any torque? I pulled it out, and it had metal around the bolt... CRAP! Did I ruin my intake manifold? It holds hand tightening, but nothing more! What should I do???

Heli-Coil maybe? (it's fixable, you didn't ruin it I'm sure..)

Most Auto Parts stores carry a one-size kit that's not to expensive (as opposed to whole kits)

If you have enough room, you can get a bolt that's a little longer.
