Good afternoon everyone ... Here is my dilemma ...
I have an 03 F550 6.0 power stroke and it appears that the turbo is on vacation .... Not building any boost ... only code found was P2285 for Injector control pressure sensor circuit low ;..... I cleared the code but it made no difference ... What direction should I head in from here .... ![]() THanks, The Doberdewd |

That code has nothing to do with the turbo. Check underneath your truck for an engine oil leak at the back of the engine where it mates to the transmission. You more than likely have an oil leak there, from a failed ICP sensor. 9-1/2 out of 10 2003 model year 6.0L trucks will have this very problem. Go to your nearest Ford dealer and order part numbers 3C3Z-9F838-EA and 5C3Z-12224-A to get the parts needed to repair. Replacement should be fairly evident once you see the parts.
