Weird noise coming from near the turbo on my 6.0

I just replaced the egr cooler and oil cooler on my Excursion with a 6.0 yesterday. I started it for the first time this morning and I have some smoke coming from the back of the engine near the turbo when I give it some gas and it is also making a weird noise coming from the back of the motor. I think the smoke is from my exhaust not being clamped on good enough, it looks like the exhaust pipe coming off the back of the turbo isn't on right.

But I can't figure out the noise. It is coming from the back near the turbo and its like shh shh shh shh and it goes up and down with the rpms.

Please help I gotta get this thing running we have 2 feet of snow and my Lincoln LS is no good in it.

Ok I refit the 2 pipes on the turbo and it is better but I still have a leak. It seems like it is coming from the egr cooler. The clamp is on that pretty tight. The new one came with a thin metal gasket for the egr cooler where it hooks up to the exhaust but it didn't have one on the old egr cooler. Could this be my issue? Is it supposed to have a gasket on the egr cooler where it meets the exhaust or is it supposed to be just clamped on like the exhaust is where it meets the turbo?

Yes, sounds like the problem, you need to have that stainless gasket in place between the egr cooler and up pipe or it'll leak..
