99 7.3 Michigan got cold and now it wont start

My dads 99 wont start unless its plugged in, its got about 220,000 on it. It did fine all winter but today it got down to the 30's again and it wont start without being plug in.

We havent had any problems with the 96 or 97 strokes my mom and I have.

Anybody got any ideas? THANKS

Hey I am not far from you if you would like I can come look at it for you. But what I would check is battery voltage during cranking, glow plug relay, glow plugs, Fuel Heater. I would be checking these things out first ok. Any questions just ask us. But like I said I ain't that far away from you if you need a hand trouble shooting it let me know.

yep, something is up with your rig. how old are the batteries?? i had a similar problem a few years ago. batteries were bad.
