"P0261-P0284 = = = = INJECTOR TEST (NEED A SCANNER FOR THIS)."

On a buzz test you listen for the sound, not look for codes. You also need to do a contribution test.

I got a 1999 F350 and it would run real rough on idle and smoke white until it warmed up and then ran fine. The colder it was the worse it got. I had my buddy who works a a local Ford Dealership come over and checked it out and I had 3 injectors on the drivers side going south. I also had 240,000 miles on this truck. He replaced all 4 injectors and glow plugs on the drivers side and all is well now.He does alot of side work for alot less than the Dealership charges.4 new Ford injectors and glow plugs $1500 and labor $200. This hurt since I am unemployed at this time, but I need the truck since I am going to school full time for HVAC.

With the snap on scanner when the buzz test is finished it says no codes found which i guess it means all the electrical part to the injector is good
