Oil in IC tube

Im trying to get the EGR valve out. so far i cant! i took the IC elbow off right in front of the EGR valve. and i looked in the tube and their is standing oil all in the tube!!??????? is this normal? hopefully someone responds ASAP cause its getting dark and im not even at home right now. thanks.

the oil is normal.

your signature says egr delete. why were you pulling egr valve?. just courios.

yea i need to change that,the mech. said it was a delete.(this was when i first got it, not knowing anything about it) he just welded the inlets closed on the cooler.
