fires off then dies...

Hello guys 04 F250 with a 6.0 In the morning or after work I have to crank my truck 7-9 times before it will stay running. I hit my glow plugs each time a crank it and I plug it in at night. In the mornings when I crank it, it will turn over two or three times and fire up and go dead in like half a second. When it finally fires off it lopes like a small block with a HUGE cam in it then clears up. Any ideas?

Could be fuel pressure draining back.
