Oil Filter help!
I am changing the oil in my dads 09 F350 and i pulled the filter. I cant get the spring rod to decompress and let me install the new filter. Please help Im a cummins guy and I have never dealt with a system like this.

So what is your question? Just snap the new Ford FL-2016 filter into the cap and screw while pressing downward at the same time, until the cap bottoms out.
