I'VE ABOUT HAD IT!!! WON'T START!!

So I currently have a new issue, I go out to replace the glow plugs in my truck saturday and it won't start. This was after I had disconnected the batterys because I had one going bad and had to replace it. I had not tried to start the truck since I disconnected the battery, so I am starting to worry it might be because I did'nt de-program it first from my EDGE evo programer? The other kicker is that it cranks over fine, but I don't get the normal white smoke when it cranks over for a while like that? So I'm not getting fuel for some reason HELP ME i'm losing it I am probably going to need my truck tommrow too we have a winter storm warning tonight and i commute 70 miles to work so that wont be a fun drive in my rear wheel drive car with no snow tires. PLEASE GIVE ANY IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE

Well...

Do you have a way to check fuel pressure? Can you hear the pump running when you turn it to "on"? Did you check to make sure you got everything connected again (gpr)?

Ya everything is connected right! I have never heard the pump running before so I don't know how i would tell and I don't have a way to check the fuel presure. Thanks but I will check the gpr

generally its best to replace the gpr with the glow plugs. change that. also use the block heater to see if it fires up. if still no smoke, its a fuel related issue.

I had my batteries disconnected for a couple of days & mine did the same,
drove me crazy trying to work out. Ended up connecting edge & returned to stock & B**** of thing fired straight up.
Might be worth trying, just a thought

1999+ has electric fuel pump. But older psds have a fuel/lift pump in the valley of the engine. This acts as a lift pump as well as a high pressure fuel pump to the filter. Check power to gp's and relay. Not sure of a way to check if comp is ok or if edge screwed it up. Edge should have saved stock setting for when you put it back. Try putting it back and go from there.

Just put it back to stock no such luck batteries are getting kinda weak again so i put the charger on them will try and take a look at the fuel filter tommrow and make sure that the fuel isnt all gelled up in there and go from there.and also I have had the truck pluged in this whole time and the GPR is fairly new i remebered i put a new one on not too long ago before I did decided I needed glow plugs.

Did you run diagnostic on it with edge ? any codes? if so did you clear them?
