VT275 oil capacity!!!

Im in the shop right now working on a 2006 LCF, its got as 4.5L V6 PSD and i dont know if any of you have worked on this engine but i cannot get the oil level right, i have put 14QTS in it, and i dont want to put any more, it always seems to be at the right level, then after it sits for a while it'll drop down to where it barely even shows up on the stick, i gotta get this truck on the road, any input would be great! thanks in advance..

Might want to check international's site....I believe it takes 18 qts....I have a vt275 sitting around waiting to be put into something and i'm almost positive thats what the service manual said?
