1990 idi WHITE SMOKE
I have 1990 F250 wit idi that will smoke heavy for bout 20 mins then it will clear up then it will smoke when i take off from a stop what could it be kinda new to diesels

White smoke at startup is fairly normal, if it's heavy you may want to check your glow plugs. White smoke when you take off could be water in fuel, clogged fuel filter, faulty fuel pump, low fuel sucking air, or low cylinder temps. Does it smoke if you stop and go immediately or only after you let it idle awhile?
