Intermittent Missing (SES Codes)
2000 F350 CC 190k
Tried to post and messed something up so here goes again. While cruising down the highway (65 mph) I keep getting a miss and/or shudder that is getting more frequent. The truck runs fine at low speeds or around town and starts/idles fine. When the miss occurs I hit the go pedal and the SES light goes out. I borrowed a tuner from a co-worker and these are the codes that came up: p-0470 P-1280 Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am not diesel saavy but I love this truck and I am willing to try an fix it if it's not to involved. Thanks in advance for any help... |

DTC P0470 indicates an EBP sensor malfunction was detected during KOEO On-Demand Self Test.
Possible causes: damaged EBP sensor open signal ground damaged PCM....DTC P1280 indicates injector control signal circuit out of range low was detected during KOEO Self Test or during continuous diagnostic monitoring. hope this helps |

Thanks for the info, I have been reading the other posts, could the 1280 code be more wiring than sensor malfunction?
