Engine cab noise!!!

Well, I was towing home from a long trip and I noticed more that usual noise coming from/through my air vents. When I was on the pedal it sounded like a air blower then it would go away when I let off. I know what the fan sound like when it gets warm and the winding of the turbo, it was not either one of these. Engine light came on, but only about 100 mile later.
I have asked, someone said it might be a vacuum that came loose??? Should I go to the dealer? Is it my turbo going out?
When I shut off the truck, it does make a longer "air relief" noise???
Any help would be great.

Sounds like a vacuum line came off in your climate control. Do your vents change like they are supposed to or just come out the defroster? What was the code?

I asked about the code because you said the engine lite came on, I was guessing you meant the check engine lite. If the check engine lite is on and you don't have a scanner, you can take it to advance or autozone and have is scanned for free and that will give you the code to chase after.

Just a pic of the engine on the dash lit up. No Advance or Auto Zones out here in CA.

a pic of the engine on the dash is the check engine lite. Do you have any cheap auto part stores, pep-boys, o-reileys? If not any local shop can read the code for you.

I have a Pep Boys down the street from my office, they should be able to read the code there?

yes they can read the code if one of the employees haven't walked away with the reader. Let me know what the code is and I may be able to help you further.
