cold start problems
I have an 03 F250 that I am having trouble with on cold starts. When started I get a puff of white smoke occasionally and then an intermittened miss until it warms up for about 5 minutes. I dont know a lot about these engines so any help would be greatly appreciated

7.3 or 6.0? Either way, it sounds like glow plug issues. Check your glow plug relay and resistance to the plugs.

Do you plug it in when it gets cool out? Makes a world of difference.

Same here, I scanned and got code P0261 through P0282. Took it to M_CHAN at Yorkdale Ford in the morning and here had me out before lunch. My FICM was fried. Readings of 17.5V on all my cylinders. Had it replaced, runs great now.
