None at all? Check the harness. If thats intact you need a new pedal assembly

i know the pedal assembly circuit is a complex one, are there any checks i do on the circuit?

No not really. Its pretty much a replace only thing. Its not all that expensive either. Right around 100 bucks

ok, i just want to be sure, as its not my truck or my money to spend. mine went south in my 97 a few months ago and it was erratic. at work (international) when they drop out, occasionally its a fuse, i looked over the manual and fuse box, didnt find one, so i assume ford doesn't use a fuse anywhere, am i right? also, a bad pedal tends to not set a light?

Sometimes it does sometimes it just stores a soft code

gotcha, now a dumb question, how do you unplug it, there is a little red thing that slides up and down but not sure how to work it

oh yeah, adjustable pedals too

I gotta go look but its a couple 10mm bolts and a wire harness to unclip. Not sure on the adjustable pedals though
