Can't start my Ford

I have a 99 F-250 powerstroke with an automatic. All stock with 248,000 miles. And I didn't start it the last four days. And when I went to start it today it started up for a bit and then died. And know it doesn't light the wait to start light at all. And it won't start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and it has new batteries.

No, should it. What I did notice was that when it first fired up the wait to start light came on. But it hasn't anymore.

If the RPM's aren't working while you are cranking and no wait to start light then put a CPS in it. They are around 20 bucks. Very common problem. There were recalls on them you might want to check that out.

I think the RPM thing only applies to the OBS. If the wait to start light does not come on I would check the fuses. JJ
