OIL LEAK INTO ENGINE VALLEY?????

On monday my truck started leaking oil like crazy i put some leak sealant to try to slow it down so i could look at it this weekend. it didnt work. but i drove it until yesterday. witch by then it was leaking like a quart every two or three days.

Ive narrowed the leak down to the engine valley. because its leaking onto the starter and bell housing via the engine valley drain.

Now my question is where is the leak comming from. i know its not the turbo ive already inspected and there is no oil on the top or bottom of the turbo pedistal. i'm pretty sure its one of the following three things.

Mech fuel pump leaking oil.

IPR valve

Or the hpop (hopefully its not this one lol)

SO far ive removed the filter housing assembly and examined under the hpop and Ipr valve and cant seem to find any wet spots on the back end of the hpop, where the gasket is.

when i took off the front part of the ipr i noticed oil on the inside. IS this normal? also the front retaining bolt seemed a bit wet. could it be leaking this much (a quart every 2 days) from the ipr?

or could it be the gasket on the fuel injection pump? i had the pump replaced a year ago and i'm pretty sure the mech. changed the gasket when he took the pump out.

please any help , tips, or advice would be greatly appericated . i'm wanting to get my truck back on the road asap . thanks Ignacio

IIRC, oil in the IPR is a bad thing.

ok i just got in from replacing the hpop and gaskets. i cranked it for about ten seconds and it fired up. ran rough for a bit but then it smoothed out. but now. the little black "relay" to the left of the fuel filter housing is smoking a bit...... i might have gotten a bit of diesel on it when i filled the fuel bowl. but the wire gets really hot? any ideas? and i'll check tomorrow to see if i'm still leaking oil or not.
