Big Uh Oh Guys!!!! Help!!

Ok i was out kicking up dust this afternoon and my truck started making a wierd noise near the turbo and my transmission wont go. Code reads waste gate acuater failed and thats where the noise is coming from but why would my trans not lock in. i can cut the truck off and cut back on and i guess it resets and will drive for a minute and then its gone again.. PLEASE HELP!!! Gotta get fixed ASAP!!

Pull the red airline off the wastegate actuator and see what happens.

That red line is what actuates the waste gate actuator which opens the waste gate valve when you overboost. Its possible your valve is opening up when it shouldnt. Maybe your sping is shot in the actuator. Might be a cheap fix as you can run it with it unhooked.

i can get a brand new banks big head wastegate for 100 bucks but why in the world is this cause my truck to not go into gear?

pulled it, same small grinding noise and i can only drive up about 10 miles a hour and shes gone...... HELP!
