My 06 is doing the same thing. It starts fine in the mornings (so far), drive it to work/lunch or where ever.... go to start it up and..... crank crank crank........ and sometimes I'll get a half start. Go to press the throttle, and no response. Glow plug light comes on...... goes out as normal...... It just sounds like its getting no fuel. And it happens randomly, it does it sometimes, and sometimes it doesnt. I have no idea....... its really bothering me though, because in two weeks I'm getting out of the Army, and moving back to California from Texas........... I guess I wont shut it off when I get headed west......anyone come up with anything? If you know what it is...is it covered under warranty?

im going through the same thing as well... mine will fire then automatically shut down. sometimes it starts very hard and fluctuates in rpms. this morning it would not fire at all unless i held the throttle wide open then let off as soon as it fired and it will run for about 3 seconds before it loses all power. ive been told this is from the priming pump but i just baught the truck and havent really looked into it all that much. PLZ HELP

pressure should be at least 900psi could build upto 5000psi. i would check fuel psi before anything else. you should have 60 psi fuel pressure.
