exactly what i am getting at. And even if dirt wouldnt break a piston ring... would scratch up some walls yes but not break a ring and gouge a cylinder. All the service has been done by Ford dealers and has been done routinely. I just dont get it. I am not hiding anything I am not trying to cover up anything I am just getting screwed by ford because they dont want to spend $12000. to put a new diesel in my truck.

Oh I would too now if I knew it was going to get like this. Nut now its in 1000 pieces on a rack at the ford dealer. The service manager is pissed at Ford cause he has another one like it that has been there for 14 months tying up one of his racks and he told me "looks like i got another rack gonna be tied up for a while"

so all the auditor said was that either
A. Ford's own air filter does not properly filter our the dirt
or
B. the dealer itself is responsible for the problem due to not properly performing the maintenance.
no where does he say that it was your fault so I don't get why someone isn't putting a new engine in your truck and the dealer and Ford hash it out???

Pics of my Ford Warranty nightmare are on this site. Sorry couldnt upload them here as i took high res. photos and they were too big. Let me know what you think cause I am thoroughly disgusted and dont know where to turn or what to do to get Ford to realize this is a part break problem not dirt ingestion as they call it...
