Spool valves

Anyone ever hear of Spool Valves? If so where are they located?

I heard that bad spool valves can give you a rough running condition when cold.

Spool valves are an internal valve on the injector of a 6.0. They are probably responsible for 90% of 6L injector failures.

Siemens is the company that made the 6.0 injectors for Navistar through a partnership. They are still making the injectors for the 6.4L now as well as the injection pump.
