6.0 turbo surging at cruising speeds
Recently when driving ive been noticing on moderate acceleration and cruising speed with turbo spooled a surging from turbo/exhaust. Sounds as if variable veins in turbo are opening/closing slightly. The noise can be heard in center dash area by turbo and through the exhaust. Some noticable surging in speed as well however no noticable variation in engine RPM. Talking to a few friends I hear the turbos are common culprits as well as some sensors. Im about to take it to the dealer just want to know what to expect....Thanks for the advice!
