Anyone remember Dazdillenger?

He sort of vanished off the face of the earth a while back. I had emailed, called, drove by his house... didn't know what happened to him. This was 2012 time frame. I just did another random google search for his name and look what popped up:

Might be mixing him up with someone else. There have been so many guys that came and went since 2012.

That couldn't be more wrong Dave. Dazdilenger was/is Mike Oefelein. Yes he did help a bunch of members...with parts he probably didn't pay for. He lived right near me. Helped him a few times on trucks that probably didn't belong to him....

He told me he bought that truck brand new in Florida...

Also had a rare-ish mustang saleen in his garage he almost never took out. Said he bought that in Florida too, it had a salvage title because it was in a flood at the dealer when new, but he bought it and fixed it. I wonder if that was even true. Just when you think you can trust someone...

This is the email I was using to contact him with up until this happened.

dazdillenger84@gmail.com

The phone number he was using was 518 706 0760 which doesn't even make sense because 518 was east of us (my home town area actually). He had a phone number for the house, but used one of those magic jacks so basically he could call out but nothing came in.

The address you have there for his NY house is actually his parents address. I was there a few times. That's where he worked on the trucks. Behind his dads barn there, he had an older (99+ body style) F250 RC/SB conversion truck with a 12V cummins in it. He never worked on it and it just sat out in the field there... wonder where it all came from. He had multiple trucks there down to the frame he had parted out etc. Parts everywhere.

I can kind of remember how I got to his house but can't remember the roads, I'll see if I can back track it on google maps. He had a house like 5-10 minutes away from his Dads. That's where the mustang was, that's where there was always different sport four wheelers and crotch rockets at too....

I had my gf's sister look into this a bit, doesn't look like he's been sentenced for any of this yet either.
