**ESS SUB CHAPTERS**

Increased interest recently in the chapter has led to the discussion of creating sub-chapters within the ESS to make managing the chapter a little easier. As of now i am thinking 3 sub-chapters per the map below. This is just preliminary based on your comments, input, and ideas. I would like everyone to weigh in.

Essentially each sub chapter will have its own leadership and will operate under the ESS bylaws as well as the Powerstroke.org bylaws. Sub-chapter directors will either volunteer or be nominated by the membership. Sub-chapter gtgs will be open to all members, and will also count as ESS mandatory gtgs. We will also work to have a once a year chapter wide gtg somewhere central in the state.

Please check out the map and comment. This thread will be open for about a week, then a decision will be made based on member input. Thanks!!

Proposed chapter areas...

I like the 3 sections, but it is up to ya'll and what fits your chapter the best. I have no dog in this fight. LOL

I think the 3 sections might make it easier for GTG's. It seemed like as one big group we kept trying to do a whole chapter event, so it was too hard to get enough people together. And anything specific to one area felt like other members were getting left out.

I can't pull up the map but I'm sure the boundaries are logical. Sounds good to me.
