my Early 99

Hey guys im new to the org as a member but has been reading them for over a year now and i have an early 99 f350 and want to do some things to the engine and get some pretty good numbers out of it without hurting it of course, so far i have a 5 inch mbrp , i also was looking to spend about 1800 on mods , so let me know you you think would be the most effective for the cost

There are several good tuners out there for the 7.3- DP Tuner, Total Diesel Performance, Power Hungry Performance, Swamps, etc. I run DP Tunes on my truck and I'm very pleased with it (haven't ran anybody else's tuning). You should also look at a good intake- DIY 6637, AFE stage 2, Ford AIS, etc. You also need to think about trans mods if you have an auto (BTS or JW valve body or a Transgo shift kit) or a bigger clutch if you have a stick. Next comes injector and turbo mods, but to swap to any turbo other than Beans D66 you have to convert your turbo system over to late style- turbo, pedistal, up pipes, collector, spyder pipe, plenums on the heads. You won't be doing injectors or turbo on your $1800 budget though, unless that's the only thing you do.

what numbers will i be looking at if i get the Dp tuner on the 140hp setting with a ram air intake and i plan on a 4 inch down pipe to six inch stacks?

I don't know about total HP numbers, I'd guess 280-290. Also, don't expect to get 140 horse from the chip without spending big bucks on injectors, turbo, and big oil.
