what gear ratio should my truck have

I have an 99 f350 crewcab dually with the 7.3 and i have 4:10 ratio rear end. Right now when im going 75 on the high way with the overdrive on the rpm is at 2700 now that seems super high. would it be way better for me to put 3:73 in it too get the rpm down. my friend has 3:73 in his f250 and i think his truck is at 2000 rpm at 75mph. so any info on what i should do would be great
