Is the Napa # Fil6637 the same as a wix filter #6637?

I have an early 99 . Where can I find a 4" exhaust pipe with a 45 degree angle to do a DIY Filter system?

I'm not really sure what you would use. I've got a 2000. Someone that's done this on an early 99 should chime in here to help you out. Probably tomorrow since its gettin late.

Zoodad is where you cut out part of the header panel infront of the intake snorkel. Ill see if i can find a pic of mine.

My ugly hack job.


Cleaned it up and put some gutter shield over it to keep big stuff out.

you'll prolly have to find a truck dealer some where or order online. not many places carry over 3". we are the only truck dealer, and only place in town that has anything over 2 1/2"

a 45* 3 inch PVC coupler will work..just scuff the ends with sand paper so the filter doesnt pop off..or you can order a pipe here ..
