Putting an OBS Motor In An E99

As some of you know a good friend had a E99 with a bad motor. He brought my 95 OBS motor out of the parts truck. I know we have to switch injectors, valve cover gaskets and harnesses over. Also change fuel bowl over and plug the return lines on the heads right. So my big question is the turbo are the OBS and E99 the same or not? Are the pedestals and up pipes the same? Is there anything else I need to know or change.

Thanks JJ

Alternator and A/c are on opposite sides. I think you need to swap the whole front cover, no big deal with the motors out and beside each other.

e99 turbo is different than OBS, I think the Up pips are the same though

CSIPSD could answer you better, IIRC he has/had an OBS motor in his SD

Pretty sure I'm wrong about the front cover, I found the thread where CSI posted about OBS motors in his SD ( hes done two) and no mention of that.
