XLE4 swap to PMT2?

What are your guys thoughts on changing my XLE4 ecu to a PMT2. I hate the shifting strategy on the e99's. Would the pmt1 or the 3 have any advantage? I currently just installed a hydra chip and had a dp previously. I loved what jody did with the trans tuning. But I wanted the option of running others tunes. But now hate how the truck shifts. Just wondering if a ecu swap would be worth it or just do a valve body. I found a pmt2 for 100 bucks. Not sure what to do.

I would give Jay at PHP a call and let him know what you have going on and see if they can tweek the trans tuning for you so it shifts better before you start swapping PCMs ect.

Jay is doing a custom tune for mine and I have the xle4 as well.
I will be pulling my 12000 pound fifth wheel rv and need better shifting.
Tony Wildman also will do custom tunes for the hydra and Tony emailed me today about same question you asked. Tony said not to change the pcm unless I need to spend money. Tony is also doing a custom tow tune for me this week so I will have both to try. He says the pcm is not a problem for him
