Intake Manifold

I have been considering getting an aftermarket intake manifold for my truck. I have seen a lot of good reviews on them. But i do have some concerns. I know the early 99's have a lot of differences, so I wasn't sure if the manifold would be different because it is an early 99. Does anyone know if there is a difference?

Yes they are different. The early 99 are smaller. There is quite a few things that are different ( injectors Hpop turbo). I would ditch the edge and get custom tunes, you will notice more from that than a intake. Plus the edge is not good on your trany.

aftermarket intakes dont give hardly any gains.
just stick with the stock one.

if you want more power get one of the billet compressor wheels, you will actually gain power with one of them. and they are half the price of the intake manifold.

custom tunes are the way to go.
