PCM replacement for early '99 Manual Trans

I'd like to upgrade to a 2001 model PCM for my early '99 6 spd manual truck with 7.3L.
Where should I be looking to buy one for a reasonable price and what codes am I looking for?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Where is Oakland? Coastal I'm guessing? I'm in Lakeview, 2 hours east of Klamath Falls.

If you get the new pcm, post back your results. I'm interested in doing this too but have not heard any feedback from fellow ZF6 owners.

Will do, Chris... I haven't been in a hurry to get to it yet - like you, wondering if it's really worth persuing.
