Ideal ICP Pressure

Hi All,

I just threw $450 into AE today, but I'm curious of something. When cranking, is it ideal for the HPOP Pressure to reach 3000-3500 psi? I have an HPOP gauge installed and that is what it reaches when it's cranking.

That seems too high. Unplug your ICP sensor and do it again.

When I unplug my icp, the hpop gauge reads 0. No changes in performance either.

BUMP! After some thinking, and realizing that most situations call for 500 psi HPOil when cranking. Is it normal for mine to read 2500? I have an HPOP gauge installed, and that's what it reads when I crank to start, every time.

Could my IPR possibly be sticking open? (I just ordered a new IPR anyway)

There not calling for X amount... Its asking for min of 500 before the IDM fires...

I see mine spike to 2500-2700 when the truck is cold, once the pressure builds it will spike.

Doesnt sound like anything to worry about.

Well...with all the gauges youve got, I think I'll trust ya. Thanks!
