My early 99 with the stock turbo and stock injectors and a TS chip set at 140 would hit 28-30 psi easy. You may be running out of high pressure oil instead of running out of fuel. I did have my waste gate rod tightened up a little and the hose disconnected. My egt would easily get to 1300 degrees. If you can get a scanner or predator programmer you can watch the ICP and other stuff to see why the 140 setting isn’t working for you. Also may want to hook a gauge with a long hose to the head and watch fuel pressure at WOT.

Last week I was hitting 44 pounds after I unhooked the wastegate! Running stock, too. I thought something was gonna blow...until I realized that I had accidentally set my Recon ZXT gauge for a Dodge instead of a Ford...
Now I'm back to 15ish again. |
