E99 turbo conversion

The start, I converted my e99 to new style turbo. I installed bellowed up pipes, I used the .84 exhaust from e99 and the 1.0 compressor from a 2003 van, the old turbo had a ww and now I use the compressor from the 2003 van. Of course I had to install a taller pedestal, I'm still using the stock exhaust, and removed the ebp gate, I have super chips tuner, and napa 6637 air filter.

As e99 setup with tuner, exhaust temps would hit 1200 wot & 20 psi, and at 70 mph I would have 3 psi and 300-500 exhaust temps. Idol is 300 degrees,

New set up with tuner, wot is never over 1000 degrees & 25 psi, 70 mph is 600-800 and 5psi, idol is 400 degrees,

Now the question, I thought that temps would be lower? Are the higher temps ok? Should I have changed something else? I will be doing 4" exhaust next, but I don't want to hurt my motor running higher temps. My goal for this project is better mpg, not power. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Still got the e99 turbo?

2008 f250 king ranch ccsb: spartan ndash with sotf, s&b cold air intake, 4" turbo back flo pro exhaust, amp research steps, 8" 4 linkrough country lift, 24x13" painted to match fuel mavericks on 38" nitto trail graps.

Ww is stock on e99... just sayin but did you put it in the newer housing?

All your numbers are pretty normal especially since you still have stock exhaust. Straight pipe that thing.
