back pressure line

well went to clean the exhaust back pressure line it was broke almost in to had done been repared once now again. was wanting to find a new one cheap any ideas ford is $55 shurely someone else out there is cheaper

I'm gutting my EBPV this week and will be removing the pipe from mine. It's two months old and you can have it for $30.00 plus the shipping.

If its just a flared pipe maybe you can buy a little length of tube and flare then ends yourself?

dealer only item...55 bucks...you can make your own if you want...but frustrating to most..i spent the 55... DirectFordParts has it for around 36 bucks to....i do know napa or IH does not have it.. copy and past the part# to the directford parts link below...Exhaust Backpressure Tube 1C3Z-9D477-AA Ford 99-03

I removed mine and plugged the hole in the manifold and unhooked/tied open the valve. One more thing I no longer have to worry about.

This is most likely a dumb question, but does anyone have a pic of this part? I don't really know where it is or what it looks like. Also all early 99's have these?
