swamp vs dynomite

i talked to swamp on friday... with everything we talked about, was looking like 175/173's i asked what i should see to the ground. he said no truck will be the same... but 50hp or better depending on the HPOP and stuff.

then dynomite diesel called me back today, and i talked to them.

same talk and stuff... he said go with the stage 2's. i aske what i should see to the ground and was told 100-120hp closer to the 100 with my HPOP*.

*both will be with a TS chip, and i'll be putting in a new 17*HPOP when i install the injectors

who is running these and what are you seeing in hp?
what is the better one to go with.

anyhelp would be great, i would love to order them tomm. if i can make up my mind.

The extrude honing on the Dynomites really does make that much of a difference. Were you talking about the stage 2 with 070 nozzles. They are good for around 90-100 on stock pump. I have a stealth and they should be good for around 120, but with proper tuning. My tuning comes from Jody at DP.

I know you can get the swamps for around 1600 or soand the dynomites run about 2100, but they are all 100% new and the less expensive swamps are rebuilt units.

Just a bit of info, hope it helps in some way

i put a set of Dynomites stage 2 in my 97, did befor and after dyno and got 93 hp on stock fuel and stock hpop. the truck really drives better with the stage 2 injectors then it did with stock injectors with the edge progromer.

I went with DDP for three reasons.

1) They EH the injector nozzles and flow match them to within 1lpm.

2) They have a 3year / unlimited mileage warranty.

3) They support the events in northern Ca that I attend. So I will support them.

Don't say that man. There are plenty of how install injectors threads around so read as many as you can find, and keep the best copy handy.

You made the right choice and will be happy.

The guys at Swamps told me I should be putting down 380rhp with my setup. I haven’t had a chance to dyno it yet but that sure “feels” about right. I’m not overly impressed with Swamps tuning they did to my TS chip but she does burn the big mudders and bark second pretty good with a stock tranny. I hate when they call injectors stage II or stage III, I like it when they just tell you how much they flow. If I ain’t mistaken the only differences in injectors is how much they flow and if they are single shot or split shot.
