Lightbulb Help with 7.3 exchange

I have a 2003 F250 with the 7.3. What are the ramifications for using the early 7.3 from a 97 to 99 (turbo)? Can the exhange be made using parts from the later model? The 2003 has the electronic control for the turbo, and I understand the pre 99 1/2 is oil press controlled. Then I see post about intake runner size and such. Any info will help.

I'm pretty sure the long blocks exchange, but the turbo and electronics are different.

Help with 7.3 exchange

Differences are:
PCM
IDM (interchangeable)
E99 has AB code injectors 03 has AD code (needs to match PCM unless you get custom tuning)
E99 is a 15deg HPOP but is interchangeable with the later 17deg pump. You'll want the 17
No AIH on E99
If you use the E99 turbo, you will have to use the E99 IC pipes, up pipes, intake manifolds, and sypder
Not sure about the pedastal

E99 turbo is smaller, but less prone to surge
