anyone ever heard/done this??

Theres a guy on youtube ( 7.3L LONGEVITY INJECTION TUNE UP 1 OF 4) In section 2 he (powerstokehelp.com) is saying when you change your lower oil pan oil (15 quarts) you should also change your upper oil in the upper oil reservoir (3-quarts.) and that this will prolong the life of your injectors, etc...He is talking like the 2 only kinda mix with each other? ( I find this hard to believe) I can see how the pro-long might help!!! And I can see maybe sucking the 1 quart in the reservoir out at the time of your oil change...But whats up with the RUN/suck/run/suck/run/suck thing he is doing??? Is this guy just full of it or what????

there is no qualification process for posting on youtube... any goof ball with a video camera can do it! Up to you to belive what you see, if you chose to.

I"ll stick to changeing the oil that comes out the drain plug every 5K, new filter, and about 14 qts of Rotella... keeps me happy.

I hear ya on that one!! (that's why I came over here with the big dog diesel gear heads .lol) This is a great site!! glad to have found it!! I also just did a search here & spent a while reading all posts on the subject...and to my surprise, the guy Im talking about is on this site!!! (now Im embarrassed!!) but from the looks of it he has caught enough heck from everyone over it!!! so I think I will leave this sleeping dog lie...In his defense he does have some good informative videos out there though.
