I ran across a scale with a full load of firewood logs. Total weight of the cargo, 4,760 lbs. I probably would have been thrown in jail if I got caught. On top of that, I often haul that size load, or larger, plus a trailer full of 2 cords of wood. Can't beat those PacBrake air bags that keep the truck from squatting too much.

my truck got weighed last weekend taking shingles to the dump on the tailgate. coming out empty (tail gate closed) i tipped at 5800 kgs (canada). FIRESTONE AIR BAGS ALL THE WAY!!!

Just in case anyone wants to know a 1999 F350 Super duty wieghs 7,440 with a full tank, me at 148lbs, and around 100lbs of tools.

I've always heard the 26k limit here in ky to. Boys around here always run farm tags on there trucks to keep the DOT off them.

I have been curious about this though since I've considered pulling a 2 car wedge with my crew cab long bed.. Truck itself weighs 7200 pounds. I highly doubt this setup would put me at 26k. I'm thinking maybe 18k at most.
